Wincanton Phase 2

Glencar successfully delivered Phase 2 of the Wincanton project for IKEA. Completed in November 2024 within a 12-week programme, the project involved upgrading the remaining 90,000 sq ft of the facility to meet IKEA's operational needs.

Collaborating with Kavanagh Burke Consulting Engineers, Glencar ensured the seamless integration of advanced systems within the existing infrastructure. The works included the installation of a bespoke racking system, a comprehensive roof and in-rack sprinkler system, and upgrades to lighting and fire alarm systems, enhancing safety and functionality. These improvements solidified the facility's capacity to handle large-scale operations, demonstrating Glencar's expertise in delivering high-quality, time-sensitive solutions for clients in the logistics and retail sectors.
